Technology

The goal of the use of technology in Ferndale School District is to improve performance and achievement for all students and employees and increase productivity and efficiency in the day- to-day operations of the district.

Appropriate safeguards will be in place to ensure the security of Ferndale School District’s systems, records or data that may be accessible through the use of technology.

All individuals are responsible for safeguarding their user access login and password credentials and must comply with the password parameters and standards identified in 5225P. Passwords must not be shared with or made available to anyone in any manner that is not consistent with this policy.

The superintendent will develop the procedure for carrying out this policy.
